Think you know a great pork pie? Now’s your chance to put your taste buds to the test!
On 24th September, we're bringing together four local producers for an evening dedicated to one of Britain’s favourite savoury treats. Watson & Brown, Jacksons the Bakers, Bloomers of Bakewell, Meadowfresh of Chesterfield and Bexton’s Butchers will all be competing for the title of Best Pork Pie.
Your £15 ticket gets you samples from all five pork pies with a selection of condiments, plus a pint of Brampton Brewery ale or a small glass of wine. We’ll also be talking all things condiments and accompaniments before giving you the important job of helping decide which pie deserves to be crowned the crowd favourite!
It’s a relaxed evening of local food, good beer and some very serious pork pie tasting.
