The H4 is unique from the other models in this collection. It has a theme that reflects the feel and colors found in LMP2 cars, with their brightly colored buttons. The bezel is made of Rolex GMT-Master II fake matt black DLC titan, while the seconds counter, power reserve indicator, and power reserve indicator are adorned with touches red, blue, and green. For maximum legibility, the minute track has a sapphire-clear bridge. To reduce weight, each bridge has been skeletonized just like a race car.
"For our Panis–Bathez Competition collaboration we took the most technical part in our collection, H4, which combines fluid technology with light technology. Dourde notes that the Panis-Barthez Team participates in 24 Hours of Le Mans with cars that depend on their headlights to race through the night. So, we decided to take this theme and integrate our light module into the watch."
The light module activates a push-button crown marked with "Flash" at 4:30. This mechanically charges the lights that illuminate the fluorescent green fluid. Also, the H4 Panis Bachez Rolex GMT-Master II Replica Competition piece is limited to 20 pieces. It is priced at 95,000 euros.
Fabien Berthon, an ex-goalie, and now professional racing car driver was in Paris with his team Nathanael Berthon, and Timothe Buret to present their new timepiece. Barthez shares that the model was discussed since six months ago. "I could see it in me, but I didn't know how it would end up. But this is the continuation of a partnership that began two years ago. This is the result. It is sporty yet chic, and I feel extremely lucky to be able to wear it."
Greizmann was unable to be present for the unveiling of his watch so Buret graciously donned the H1 Antoine Greizmann watch to the media. This is sportsmanship at its best!
